Estonia and Latvia - Pärnu

The large memorial to the Estonian writer, August Jakobsen, was erected in this park in 1973. He wrote popular novels about the life of workers in Pärnu so is a bit of a local hero here. From here we decided to drive down to Pärnu Beach which is the main attraction of this resort town.
